The Gingerbread House is a small cabin in the backyard. It’s heated by a wood stove in the winter and shaded by large trees in the summer. It shares the kitchen and bath in the main house and shares the main floor studio space. It is approximately 9x11 ft with a 5x9 sleeping loft. The GBH is a rustic and charming space. Access to the lofted bed is by a vertical ladder (pictured). The wood stove is the main heat source for the cabin and the resident is responsible for tending it (we have wood and tools stocked), there is also an electric space heater. The building heats up quickly because it’s small, it’s easy to make cozy even during the coldest months. This space is $650 a months.
