The School of Magic commences at Elsewhere Studios in Paonia, Colorado, which magically transforms into the Temple to the Muse during this time.
The Temple to the Muse has been Elsewhere Studio’s ‘higher self’ over the last 15 years. The building acts as a ‘museum;’ igniting the muse, and sharing it with the world. The muse is to be found in the artistic nature of ourselves and the space.
It is by no mistake that The Temple to the Muse has seven doors, mirroring the seven doors to the soul: the seven openings of sensory perception on our person and seven chakras within the body. The chakras are energy centers, housed within us as a temple houses the sacred space of the spirit. When the chakras are aligned within, as planets in our solar system, they mirror the heavenly bodies above, rotating in alignment:
Heaven and earth are joined. Through this pure intention and consecration, we hold The Temple to the highest of configurations, and in this manner, it functions as a spiritual body: a Temple.
Willow Windgood, founder and curator of The School of Magic, sought to attend such a school as SOM coming out of high school. Not knowing where to look, or what exactly to look for has led to this journey of discovery.
Willow arrived in Paonia to build what is now ‘The Temple to the Muse’, and landed in a Kabbalistic ‘Elemental Magic Class’, inspiring the first dreaming of a mystery school. This area has always been a mecca for powerful teachers and teachings, but before now, has not been woven together into a cohesive configuration.
Many people from this community have come together to form the Magic Keepers, holding the flame for this knowledge to be accessible to those seeking its wisdom and direction at this time.
