Process Painting is a 4 class series that will build on itself in a safe and playful container.
Life is a series of creative movements, and we have the opportunity to move with our creative/intuitive selves in each moment. Classes take a playful opportunity to experiment with our intuitive creative process through painting. This is a meditative process where painting is the tool for fine tuning presence and body awareness. This work is based on Michele Cassou’s ‘Process Painting’ techniques.
- Classes are curated with prompts to activate different intuitive explorations to discover 'the switch' from the mental creativity to a state of intuitive flow.
- Learn to trust that it's okay to let go of control in life (and perhaps not have a pretty painting).
- Meditative painting exploration, followed by group reflection of playful (or frustrating!) intuitive unfolding.
Intuition is the creative energy that comes directly from Source; and when we learn to get out of the way, amazing things occur! We will be here to paint from our intuition, to discover our inner landscape and our intuitive process. Surprise, wonder, and vitality are bi-products of allowing intuition to flow.
All materials are included, and absolutely no painting experience is required.

Process Painting
Room description
1 to 3 month Residences in the heart of the Temple!
The Paonia School of Magick is offering one-to-three-month residencies during the months of March, April, and May in collaboration with Elsewhere Studios Residency program. During this period the Elsewhere building becomes the Temple to the Muse, with classroom space on the lower level.
The residencies are open to artists of all genres with a metaphysical, spiritual, or nature focus.
The residencies provide intimate focused time with living and studio space in a rich and creative community. Residents are invited (but not required) to participate in School of Magick courses that will take place in the ‘So Below’ classroom.
Artists in residence get 30% off of all classes and workshops!
