Astrology is a lens (one of the many) through which we can zoom out and hold a higher perspective of the movements, patterns, and cycles of life - both greater humanity and our own. The symbolic and archetypal story it shares can support our understanding of the current cosmic|universal energy at play and the areas of life being influenced. When we can see the cosmic waves approaching, we are better able to move with the current. My experience has been that astrology helps embrace the feeling of a benevolent universe tumbling and polishing us in the starry ocean, encouraging an evolution of being, a feeling and experience of greater alignment. There are many styles and lineages of astrology. The one that finds you and feels right seems like a fine place to start.
Hellenistic astrology is an early practice of western astrology forming in the late first century BCE and drawing upon other ancient influences. Astrology is a study as infinite as the stars themselves. This course will offer a basic review of the following areas from the perspective of the Natal Chart:
~ Zodiac Signs
~ The Twelve House
~ Seven Personal Planets and Three Outer Planets
~ Planetary Aspects
~ Importance of Ascendant, Sun and Moon the Natal Chart
~ How to work with the natal chart in relationship to the current astrological movements in the sky.
~ Review of free quality astrological resources for continued study.
*This course is structured and recommended as a series and will build on information from class-to-class. However, attending the complete series is not required.
All of your donations go to support the School of Magic.
